bespoke block paved driveway in long eaton

From an overgrown, unused jungle to a beautifully functional and accessible driveway area with user-friendly walkways and a well-designed planter. We recently wrapped up this impressive project for Alison & Steve in Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire.

We started by excavating the entire area, then compacted two layers of Type 1 MOT for a solid foundation. All trees and stumps were removed, and we even installed fencing around the perimeter. Edgings and drainage systems were carefully put in place.

Next, we began the paving process to create a stunning entrance. The transformation is truly remarkable! Alison and Steve had the freedom to choose their desired pattern and layout, keeping them involved in every step of the way. We provided multiple options to ensure their vision came to life. The block choice for the driveway was Marshalls Tegula, in the elegant Pennant Grey shade.

We're thrilled to have delivered a project that not only meets the needs of Alison and Steve but exceeds their expectations. It was a pleasure to collaborate with them throughout the process to achieve the driveway they've always dreamed of.

advantages of a block paved driveway

A block paved driveway offers a range of advantages that make it a popular choice among homeowners. Firstly, it is highly durable, capable of withstanding heavy use and the weight of vehicles over time. Additionally, block paving is highly weather resistant, ensuring that it can endure harsh weather conditions without deteriorating. Moreover, block paving comes in a wide variety of colours, textures, and styles, allowing homeowners to choose the perfect design that complements their property. Its attractive appearance adds curb appeal to any home. Block paving is also a versatile option, as it can be laid in various patterns to create unique and visually appealing driveways. In terms of maintenance, individual stones in a block paved driveway can be easily replaced if they become damaged or worn, making repairs hassle-free and cost-effective.
