Our team recently finished a Tegula Driveway project using Marshalls Traditional Paving for Judith, who wanted to transform her front garden by removing old overgrown trees and giving it a fresh look. We collaborated with Judith to come up with design ideas that would complement the rustic style of her rear garden. We decided that Marshalls traditional paving was the perfect choice to maintain the desired aesthetic.

What did we do?

• To begin the project, we excavated the entire driveway area, making sure to preserve the existing red robin tree.

• We then added two layers of Type 1 MOT roadstone and constructed retaining edges for the driveway using path edgings.

• ACO drainage was installed at the bottom of the slope to ensure proper water flow.

• We also laid the step using matching Marshalls Key-kerbs and filled the area with the blocks on a sharp sand screed

• Finally, we used kiln-dried sand and compacted it with a wacker to complete the project.
