Tarmac Driveway for Megan In Long Eaton
14 Sept 2023
We were called out to a tired, unused and unsafe miss-matched concrete Driveway at Long Eaton, the client was looking for more off road parking space and was delighted when we came up with an affordable solution. A Tarmac driveway was installed with a Bradstone Woburn Rumbled block paved border and ACO drainage.

What did we do?
We Dug out all the old concrete and disposed of it at a recycling centre, then digging down to spec
We then added two layers of Type 1 MOT roadstone and constructed retaining edges for the driveway using path edgings.
ACO drainage was installed at the bottom of the slope to ensure proper water flow.
We then installed the block border on a C35 ready mixed concrete
Finally, we installed the Tarmac in two layers at 70mm (20mm binder, 6mm SMA)
